Prohibited Use
You may not use Compresso to:
- Process files that violate applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer our WebAssembly libraries
- Use automated tools to overload our servers
- Distribute malicious files or content
- Violate any intellectual property rights
🔒 Privacy and Data
Your Files
- All file processing happens locally in your browser
- Your files are never uploaded to our servers
- We cannot access, view, or store your files
- You retain full ownership and control of your files
Service Data
We collect minimal analytics data as described in our Privacy Policy.
⚙️ Service Availability
Uptime
While we strive for high availability, we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Technical issues
- Third-party service disruptions
- Force majeure events
Browser Requirements
The Service requires a modern browser with WebAssembly support:
- Chrome/Chromium 90+

⚖️ File Size and Usage Limits
To ensure good performance for all users:
- Images: Maximum 50MB per file
- Videos: Maximum 100MB per file
- Documents: Maximum 50MB per file
We may implement additional fair use policies if needed to maintain service quality.

- Compresso’s code, design, and branding are our intellectual property
- WebAssembly libraries are used under their respective open-source licenses

- Processing files with Compresso doesn’t grant us any rights to your content
- You’re responsible for ensuring you have rights to process any files you use

- We’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to $100 USD
- We’re not responsible for data loss, file corruption, or processing failures
